United States President on Monday appeared to have confirmed that Israel was the source of highly sensitive intelligence that he divulged to Russian officials.

During a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said he never mentioned "the word or the name 'Israel'" during a White House meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador Sergei Kislyak.

"They're all saying I did, so you have another story wrong, " President Trump said, referring to the media.

But Trump did not deny that some of the classified information he reportedly gave about an ISIS terrorist plan came from Israel.

Now media house said that he mentioned the name 'Israel' during his meeting with Lavrov and Kislyak.

Political analysts speculated that Trump's alleged disclosure of classified information could potentially overshadow his first official visit to Israel as president.

When Prime Minister Netanyahu was asked whether he had any concerns about intelligence cooperation with Washington, he responded: "Intelligence cooperation id terrific. It's never been better."

During a White House press briefing last week, US National Security Adviser HR McMaster said that Trump was not aware where the information came from and was not briefed on the sources and methods used to obtain it.

"What the president discussed with the foreign minister was wholly appropriate to that conversation and is consistent with the routine sharing of information between the president and leaders with whom he's engaged," McMaster said.

In a tweet, the president said that he had "absolute right" to share information on terrorism.
